Download, install, and setup Mitel Connect app

- If you don’t already have the Mitel Connect app downloaded to your computer, you can download it from here:

- Then, select the appropriate operating system for your computer – Download Connect for MAC or Download Connect for Windows.
- Locate the downloaded installer file in your “Downloads” folder and double-click to open it.
- Click “Yes” to allow the file to download onto your computer.
- In the “Mitel Connect – InstallShield Wizard,” click on the Next > button
- Click “I accept the terms in the license agreement.” Then, click Next >.
- Click Next > to install the app in the default location.
- Click Install.
You will then see a progress bar that shows the installation status.
- When the installation is completed, click Finish.
SETTING UP THE MITEL CONNECT APP:
- Locate and open the Mitel Connect app on your computer. The app icon will look like this:
- Enter the following information in the Mitel Connect window:
- Your email address
- For the password, enter your Communicator password. If you don’t know what it is, try entering the password “changeme” (without the quotation marks). If that doesn’t work, contact the ITR Help Desk at 434-544-8350 or extension # 8350.
- For the server, enter thrymr.lynchburg.edu
- Check the box beside “Remember me”
- Click the Login button
- You can enable the Mitel Connect client app to open automatically, when you start your computer.
On the Mitel Connect dashboard, click the user name tab (the area in the left sidebar that contains your name and extension number).
- The window pane will expand. On the right side, click the gear icon to open the settings.
- Make sure that Account is selected on the left sidebar.
Select the Login tab on the right side of the window.
Check the box beside “Automatically launch Mitel Connect when starting this computer”
