Reset your University of Lynchburg password

Environment

Your university password is used to log in to University of Lynchburg websites, computer systems, and the university network.

Resolution

1. In your web browser, navigate to passport.lynchburg.edu
2. Select your Relationship to University of Lynchburg from the drop down menu
   • Student
   • Employee
   • Alumni
   • Other
3. Type in your First Name and Last Name
4. Select your Date of Birth (month, day, and year) from the drop down menu
5. Click on the Find Me button
6. Click on the Change My Password button in the appropriate section
   • Employee
   • Student
   • Alumni
7. Select the Security Icon that you’d chosen when you first set up your University account
8. Type in your new password
9. Type in your new password again to confirm
10. Click on the Change My Password button

Once the final step is completed, the password will be reset.

Cause

Resetting your University of Lynchburg password may be necessary if you'd like to change to a new and more secure password or if you've forgotten your existing password.
