Finding Your Devices MAC Address

Located below are the steps to find the MAC address on several different types of devices:

Xbox Series X or Series S

  1. Navigate to the Settings page.

  2. Select Network.

  3. Select Advanced Settings.

  4. Under IP settings, the MAC address will be listed next to Wireless MAC on the right-hand side of the screen.

Xbox One:

  1. If you are signed into a profile, go to My Games & Apps and Settings. If you are not signed into a profile, just go to Settings.

  2. Select Network then Advanced Settings.

  3. Scroll down and select Network Settings. Then choose Wireless. 

Xbox 360:

  1. Go the Xbox 360 Dashboard and navigate all the way to the right most tab labeled My Xbox and select the System Settings option.

  2. Select Network Settings then Configure Network

  3. Go to the Additional Settings Tab and select the Advanced Settings. In the next window you should see the MAC Address listed.

PS5:

  1. In the PS5 menu, arrow up and select Settings.

  2. Scroll down to Network.

  3. Scroll down to View Connection Status.

  4. The MAC Address will be listed next to MAC Address (Wi-Fi).

PlayStation 4:

  1. Go to Settings in the main menu (looks like a toolbox).

  2. Scroll down and select System. Then select System Information.

  3. Here you will see the MAC addresses for Wi-Fi.

PlayStation 3:

  1. Go to Settings in the main menu (looks like a toolbox).

  2. In settings, go to System, then scroll down to System Information. Your wireless MAC Address will be listed here.

Nintendo Switch:

  1. On the Home Menu, go to System Settings.

  2. In the menu on the left side, select Internet. The MAC Address will be under System MAC Address.

Amazon Echo

  1. Download the Amazon Alexa app to your phone or computer and sign in with your Amazon account.

  2. Connect to the wireless network transmitted by your Echo device.

  3. The wireless MAC address for your Echo can be found at the bottom of the Echo Setup screen in the Alexa app.

Google Chromcast

  1. Open the Google Home App 

  2. Tap your Chromecast Device -> Settings -> Device information.

  3. Under”Technical information,” check your wireless MAC address

Media Streaming Devices

Most media streaming devices have the MAC address printed on the device itself. If the MAC address sticker is missing follow the instructions below.

  • Roku – Settings > About

  • Amazon Fire Stick: From the home screen, scroll to Settings > System -> About > Network

  • Apple TV – Main menu > Settings > Wireless ID

TVs and Other Miscellaneous Devices

  • Please refer to your devices website or guide book for locating the wireless MAC address.
