Connecting your Chromebook or Android Phone to UL-WiFi

When connecting your Chromebook or Android Phone to UL-WiFi, complete the following steps:

  1. Select the settings for UL-WiFi (may be an option to configure)
  2. Change the EAP Method to PEAP
  3. Set Phase 2 authentication to MSCHAPV2
  4. Set CA certificate to Do Not Validate
  5. If prompted for Subject Match or Domain Name, enter lynchburg.edu
  6. In the Identity field, enter your user name
    • The user name and password for this network uses your University of Lynchburg login information without the @lynchburg.edu
  7. Leave Anonymous Identity blank if that option is available
  8. Password will be your network password.
  9. Save and Connect

If the following steps don't work, you may try forgetting the UL-WiFi network on your device and then retrying. If those steps don't work, reach out to ITR Support for help.
